An official told the news agency—Kashmir News observer (KNO) that the old sculpture (Moorti) was recovered by the Budgam resident from a field. A senior police officer said that Khansahib police recovered one idol (moorti) from the house of Nissar Ahmad Sheikh, son of Abdul Rashid Sheikh of Yarikhah Khansahib.
